Covering scars
If you are seeking help with Skin Camouflage Creams to cover a scar or multiple scarring there are a few things to bear in mind...
The colour of a scar or scars can be matched to the surrounding skin therefore reducing the initial impact of the scar on first glance. The texture of the scar however cannot be changed with Skin Camouflage Creams so the scar can remain partly visible. If a scar is raised or indented then it will remain so. Raised or indented scars will cast a slight shadow on the skin which can still draw attention to the area, even if Camouflage Creams have changed its colour to that of the surrounding skin.
The aim of Skin Camouflage in the case of covering scarring is to reduce the overall impact of the scar but it will not cover it 100%

The scar above was caused by a skin graft from another area of the body. The skin graft was a different colour to the surrounding facial skin plus there is a prominent red scar around the skin graft itself. Two Skin Camouflage shades were used to reduce the appearance of this scar. A pink toned Camouflage Cream was stippled over the scar to match it to the surrounding skin. A yellow toned Camouflage Cream was used to tone down the redness of the scar edge.
The overall impact of the scar was greatly reduced so anyone meeting the gentleman for the first time may not initially notice it. The lower region of the scar edge is still visible as it is raised and this cannot be changed with skin camouflage creams. The client however was very pleased with the effect Skin Camouflage had on the scar and uses it daily.
