What Happens During A Skin Camouflage Consultation?
If you’re wondering what to expect at your first appointment, this page will walk you through the entire process. Many clients feel anxious before they come – you’re not alone. My goal is to make the experience relaxed, informative and personalised so you leave feeling confident about covering scars, vitiligo, pigmentation or other visible differences.

Before Booking An Appointment I Offer A Free Assessment To Help You Decide If Skin Camouflage Creams May Help Your Condition. This Can Be Done By Video or By Sending Photographs Via Email Or WhatsApp
On The day Of Your Appointment
- Arrival & location: All consultations take place in my home studio in Clapham or at 152 Harley Street. Please arrive on time, especially in Clapham as there is no waiting area.
- Deposits & fees: Your deposit secures your appointment. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel; moving the appointment within 24 hours may result in the loss of your deposit. The remaining balance is paid on the day by cash or card.
- What to bring: Come with your skin clean and free of makeup or fake tan so I can accurately assess colour. If the area to be assessed is on the body, please wear clothing which allows the area to be accessed.

Appointments usually last around 90 minutes but can take up to two and a half hours and are held in natural daylight.

Skin Camouflage Creams Are Tested Directly On The Skin

Colour matching: Using professional creams from brands like Dermacolor, Veil, Keromask and Covermark, I test multiple shades on your skin until we find an exact match.
Application lesson: I demonstrate how to apply, blend and set the product. You’ll then practise the technique yourself so you can replicate it at home. |
I Take Full Notes During The Consultation And You Will Receive A Detailed PDF Afterwards
Aftercare & advice: You’ll receive a personalised list of products and instructions. Remember that camouflage alters colour, not texture, so raised or indented scars may still be visible.
Following Your Skin Camouflage Consultation
Some Clients Prefer To Order The Products Online From The Comfort Of Their Own Home
Your Notes Will Be With You In Time For The Arrival Of Your Products So You Can Begin Applying Them Immediately
Following My Notes And With A Little Practise The Creams Can Be Worn Whenever You Choose

Tools required to apply the products can be purchased at the end of the consultation and taken with you. I can either order your skin camouflage creams for you to be sent directly to you, or I can advise you where to purchase them online.

Practical Tips & Appointment Info
- Consultations are by appointment only, Monday–Friday, 10.30 am–1.30 pm.
- Telephone enquiries are answered during office hours (9 am–6 pm); messages received out of hours will be returned as soon as possible.
- The consultation address is sent to you upon booking. Clapham North Underground and Clapham High Street Overground are a short walk away.
