what is skin camouflage?
The art of skin camouflage is simply using pigmented creams, matched to the user's skin colour, to cover any skin condition which causes a person some distress or a reduction in confidence. The creams come in an abundance of colours and can be mixed together to find an excellent skin colour match. A skin camouflage practitioner like me can find the best product and skin colour match for you and teach you how best to apply the creams to help cover the area you want to.
You may have come here because you want to cover vitiligo patches or were looking for a make-up to cover vitiligo. Or you may have rosacea which causes a reddening of the skin and you want to find the best product and learn how to use it to cover the rosacea. All of this can be done with skin camouflage creams and made to look natural, so can be used by any gender. Other skin conditions people use skin camouflage to cover are melasma, scarring, self harm scars, port wine stains, under-eye dark circles and many more conditions.

The difference here at Camouflage Consultations is that I have also been a make-up artist for 25 years working in television. I therefore have access to and knowledge of many other products used in the television and film industry which can also be used to reduce the appearance of a skin condition. Sometimes these products can be used instead of skin camouflage creams or they can be used together whilst remaining natural in appearance. The point is to cover the condition without it appearing the user is wearing anything. For clients who do wear make-up daily the cover up products can be used in conjunction with make-up or they can be used alone to look natural.
